Brandon Jordan, WR – 2022 NFL Draft Report
Name: Brandon Jordan

Height: 6’6″
Weight: 240 lbs
40 time: TBD
Brandon Jordan Strengths
- Hands
- Body Control
If you watch Jordan catch the ball, you’ll see everything that you need to. First he does a great job of catching the ball with his hands. He does a nice job of catching the ball away from the body. Even on the few occasions where the ball does get in on him. Jordan does a nice job of secure the ball for a catch. Even more impressive is his body control. The way that he’s able to twist his body in order to reposition himself for a catch his impressive. This was a skill that he did many times due to back-shoulder or poorly thrown passes.
Brandon Jordan Weaknesses
- Overall Athleticism
- Run After Catch
When you see Jordan on the field in a Division III game, he immediately looks out of place. But I was more surpirsed to see that he didn’t look all that out of place once the game started. I expected him to be blowing past defenders. He did not. He didn’t create much, if any, seperation during his routes. On jump balls that should have been an easy catch, he was often out jumped by smaller defenders. Once he got the ball in his hands, I expected him to run over defenders. Again, not the case. In all the routes and catches I tracked, I counted exactly one forced missed tackle. He also only had 27 yards after the catch during this time.
Draft Thoughts
I don’t know if Brandon Jordan is even on the radar of anyone other than the draft experts that somehow manage to look at every single NFL prospect. Heck, I only saw him because I decided to tune into the Div. III national championship game. As far as I can see, Jordan has been invited or accepted an invitation to any All-Star events. Still, I would expect for NFL teams to know about him. While is overall speed and athleticism isn’t great, that size with his hands would be something I’d be looking for if I was a NFL team. I don’t see him in the same group as Treylon Burks, or even Jalen Tolbert. However, I could see a team taking a late round flyer on him instead of letting him get to the free market.
